What is wrong with people like Michael Moore or Sean Penn? Is it ok for me to question liberals? What do liberals want? What are their values? Why do they hate their own country? Why do they trample on our Constitution?

I think they are spoiled. Spoiled by too much freedom that they themselves never had to fight for. Spoiled by too much money that they forgot the value of an honest day’s pay. But it’s more than that. I think they actually feel guilty for their success. They are all filthy rich. Hollywood millionaires and the likes of John Kerry, Al Gore, the Clintons and the Obamas. Yes, they are all millionaires but they are preaching “spread the wealth” ideas to Wall street, big business, small business and the common man. They want others to NOT profit, to NOT pollute, to NOT wage war while themselves living in mansions and flying in private jets and living the best life free Americans can live. Yes, I think they feel guilty for having so much and the only way they can make themselves feel better is by “pretending” to be against all these things that made them rich in the first place. Liberals epitomize hypocrisy. They pretend to be against the rich but they are rich themselves. They pretend to be against war but enjoy the freedoms wars have brought us. They pretend to care for the environment but pollute like everyone else. The truth is this – Liberals don’t hate America, they love America but they are ashamed to admit it. They pretend to be better and above the average profit-making, freedom-loving American but they are not. It’s a lie. Liberal politicians are only out for votes which give them power and money. Again, they demonize profit-making and condemn big business while making large chunks of money anyway they can themselves with book deals, real estate investments, stock market investments and speaking engagements. Maybe there are liberals who truly believe in socialism. Maybe they really think that capitalism and freedom are bad ideas but you couldn’t tell by examining their lives. America is great, but liberals have forgotten what made it great. Maybe one day, when the US is under serious military attack with bombs flying over their heads, when the economy has crumbled and food and gas have become scarce, they’ll remember that capitalism and a strong military weren’t such bad ideas after all.

Liberal politicians never ever want to take their own medicine. They wouldn’t want to be on Medicare/Aid, they wouldn’t want to live only off social security benefits and as we’ve seen recently, they wouldn’t want to be covered under the same government healthcare they’re proposing for us.

Hollywood type liberals love protesting wars and guns. Why? Do they live in a fairy tale? Do they really think everything can be solved by talking? I wish the world would be that simple but it’s not. I am pretty sure that every single one of those liberals would call for police if they were ever the victim of an armed burglary. I know they would, they would call for police armed with guns and beg them to save their lives. Well, what police is for communities, the military is for our country. How would you feel if you called 911 and got the answer that there is no police available or that they could send an officer but he won’t have a gun. War is to be avoided at all cost but to believe that war is always avoidable is insane.

So what do liberals want? What are their values? I really don’t know, but I know this:

People who were politically prosecuted come to America for a better life.

People who lived in dictatorships come to America for a better life.

People who lived in poverty come to America for a better life.

Anyone who simply loves freedom comes to America to live freely.

Millions of immigrants understand this country better than people born here. So while I don’t understand what liberals want when they tear down everything America stands for, it it pretty clear that they don’t understand that the reason they are able to do so is the same thing they are speaking out against. Freedom.

If I had to summarize I’d say this:

Liberals are liberals because they can. They can say whatever they want without being prosecuted. It’s a free country and it should be. Liberal politicians have nothing to offer except the money they take from other people. There is no “government money”, it’s money they take away from people who earned it and then give it to people who vote for them. It’s disgusting but hey – It’s a free country!

Food for thought:

If Sean Penn were an Iraqi demonstrating against Saddam’s Iraq on foreign soil he would have been executed upon his return to Iraq.

If Michael Moore would make movies attacking the government in a communist country he wouldn’t be making movies anymore.

Why are citizens furious about the current Healthcare proposals?

Citizens are voicing their opinions at townhall meetings. These citizens are loud, angry and not easily controlled or silenced. There is a good reason for that. Healthcare – the ability to seek the help of a physician in times of sickness – is to be run and controlled by our government. That is the issue at hand and that is why people are outraged, furious and completely beside themselves. That’s it. To think that our government wants to control what doctor we can see and what treatment we can obtain is in fact an outrage.

But that’s not the end of the story. Now you are being called an extremist, a radical and un-american for being outraged. What is happening here? People are being called un-american for opposing a healthcare system that in itself is un-american? This is class warfare at its finest. You promise someone a free service and then you attack the people who are against it. Makes sense on the surface until you discover that the “free service” has an extremely high price tag and I am not just talking Dollars. Over time you will see longer wait times and fewer choices in doctors and treatments. I am not being cynical or overly pessimistic. It’s just what will happen when a gigantic bureaucracy driven body like our government tries to run an already gigantic bureaucracy driven sector like Healthcare. But rather than look at why Government Healthcare will be terribly bad for everyone, let’s look at the real reason our president and democrats in general are pushing so hard to put Government run Healthcare in place. We are being told that we need to insure the uninsured and we need to bring the cost of healthcare down. I agree. What I can’t see is how you get from these worthwhile goals to “the government has to run everything”. How do you make that connection? Where is the reasoning that explains thatonlythe government can run an insurance plan that covers uninsured citizens. Where does it say that only the government can run Healthcare at affordable cost to the consumer? There is no reason. Our current government wants National Healthcare to increase it’s power over ordinary citizens. Simple as that. Once you are on the government healthcare plan you will vote for the party that promises to keep that system going. It’s the same with social security and other social programs. It’s a way to get you dependend on the government for no other reason than your vote. So yes, you can call National Healthcare opponents extreme, crazy, loony, un-american or anything else in the book but I don’t see anything wrong with not wanting to be dependent on the Government, especially for my Healthcare.

So lets start this Healthcare debate over. How can our Government “help” make Heathcare available to uninsured citizens? Tax credits? Heathcare allowances? Subsidies?

How can the government “help” bring cost for insurance plans, medications and treatments under control? Cap malpractice lawsuits? Subsidies medical research?

Find a way, be bipartisan, be original, be innovative, be American ! You don’t want your Health handled by government bureaucracy. Trust me.

The elections have passed and I agree that electing Obama was a historic moment for our country. There are other reasons why Obama was chosen by many to be the next president. The economy, the war, youth, likability and who knows what else. So here is what I think.

Chosing a president to make history makes no sense at all and maybe I wouldn’t have a problem with it if Obama didn’t have such a terribly leftist record. The person with the most liberal views in the senate will be our president? A person who sought out professors with Marxist views? A person who has associations with people like Ayers and Wright?

I don’t know if making history is worth losing more and more of our freedoms and signing ourselves up for more and more dependency on the government. Oh well…, the people have spoken, so we shall see.

From hanging chads, to people who are being turned away after waiting for many hours, to outright voter fraud.

HELLO everyone!!!

Voting is serious business. You don’t monkey with that. These days people think it’s funny to register dead people, pets and fellons. I don’t care how much you want your candidate to win. One (legal) person – one vote!

Ohh, and now we’re also dragging people to voting locations. Yep, we take busses and vans and ask people to get in and vote and maybe offer them lunch or cigarettes in return. Unbelievable!!

If someone needs help voting, they should be provided every assistance possible but if someone is not interested in voting they shouldn’t be dragged to the polls.

We the people need to stand up for what is right, no matter what party you are affiliated with and a fool proof voting system should be on top of that list.

One word – NO

OK, some more words. In typical democrat fashion, he promises the lower and middle class “change”. Change meaning that he will give you more money. Same old story, you are poor and I will get you money. What a bunch of baloney. No one has ever gotten anywhere by getting money from the government. The only thing I am really sure of about Obama is that he intends to get money from the rich and give it to the poor (and middle class). What a trooper, and ohh so original. Let’s all admire him for that.

Change? Yeah right!

People like Obama will maybe get you a few more dollars but they sure won’t empower you to stand on your own two feet. After all, who then would vote for them???

Who are the “rich”?

Big businesses, small businesses, individuals making more than $250,000. Basically everyone from Big Oil to Microsoft and Boeing, to our automakers, pharmaceuticals, retailers and on and on and on. Also included are many doctors, lawyers and others running small businesses.

So, are you rich? No?

Are you working for someone they call rich? Very likely!

Then why on earth do you want to impose higher taxes on those businesses that employ people like you and me?

Do you think that is smart? Do you think raising taxes on businesses will make them hire MORE people?

Do you think you are more likely to get a raise? Do you think costs for goods and services these “rich” produce will go up or down?

Let’s face it, the “Rich” are what keep this country, or any other country for that matter going. The “rich” are our economy. Big Oil, Microsoft, Walmart, Disney and thousands of big and small businesses around the country ARE OUR ECONOMY!!!

Taxing them is like biting the hand that feeds you!

And doing so in an economic slowdown is just plain insane.

The rich, the rich, the rich…..ahhh it’s great to always have someone to blame isn’t it?
